On the occasion of the National Day of the People's Republic of China, the Iraq-China Friendship Association, in cooperation with the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Baghdad, organized a special celebration reflecting the depth of bilateral relations between the two countries. This day marks a significant historical milestone commemorating the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949, symbolizing a strong beginning for China's journey in building a modern state and achieving global economic growth under the leadership of the Communist Party.

The association extends its warmest congratulations to China, its government, and its people on this cherished anniversary, expressing pride in the remarkable progress China has achieved over the decades in various fields. The Iraqi-Chinese Friendship Association delivers the latest joyful news for residents and traders in China: now you can link your personal Iraqi bank account to the Chinese Alipay and WeChat programs. After numerous continuous visits over the past two years, the Iraqi-Chinese Friendship Association has been at the forefront in obtaining approvals from the relevant Chinese authorities to recognize Iraqi banks in Chinese programs, with ambitions to open and integrate Iraqi bank accounts with Chinese banks. In cooperation with our Iraqi embassy in Beijing and the annual regular meeting each year with the Public Relations Center and advisors in the Chinese Communist Party and the Chinese Friendship Association with countries worldwide, Iraqi expatriates can now link their bank accounts to Chinese programs, make payments, and transfer small amounts of money with multiple bank cards at the official Iraqi/Chinese exchange rate. These are positive steps taken by the Chinese government after the Chinese New Year, as promised in our annual meetings. The first of which was to facilitate travel procedures and grant multiple visas to Iraqi traders, and the second is this valuable step that saves effort and facilitates simple financial transfers. The Chinese Language Department in Beijing Recognizes the Iraqi-Chinese Friendship Association with the "Best Partner of the Year 2023

In the presence of the Vice Minister of Higher Education of China for International Studies, the Iraqi-Chinese Friendship Association, represented by its Director of Public Relations, Dr. Sajad Al-Qazaz, participated in the First World Chinese Language Conference, which was held in Beijing, the capital, with the participation of universities around the world cooperating in the Chinese language department and all major Chinese universities.

Iraq was represented by the Iraqi-Chinese Friendship Association, the Chinese language department, after the University of Germany and the Russian University of Moscow, and it won the award for "Best Partner of the Year" with the Chinese language department in Beijing.

The association always seeks to provide all academic, cultural, and other facilities with the People's Republic of China.

As we have achieved for the first time in Iraq a Chinese examination center, we will strive to open the Confucius Institute of China so that Iraq will be with its peers from the countries of the world, as the future modern trend in all fields (academically, commercially, scientifically, and medically) is with China.
